🧡Truth and Reconciliation Day🧡

Today, as we observe Truth and Reconciliation Day, we reflect on our shared journey toward healing and understanding and how far we still have to go. It’s vital to recognize the need for Indigenous representation in our community and celebrations, and we acknowledge our current shortcomings in this area.

We are actively working to incorporate more Indigenous representation at Kaslo Jazz and are committed to growing for the 2025 festival. This extends beyond tokenism and musical acts. We are striving to actively collaborate with our Indigenous communities to have vendors, workshops, art, and much more in the fabric of our event.

We honour that the land we gather on for Kaslo Jazz is the traditional and unceded territories of the Ktunaxa, Sinixt, and Syilix peoples.

Let’s use this day to not just honour but also to educate and uplift Indigenous voices. Together, we reaffirm our commitment to truth and reconciliation.

It’s no surprise that everything in life is getting more expensive, and we recognize that includes both going to, and producing, festivals like ours.

With that in mind, we are announcing the return of the Early Bird passes for the 32nd Annual Kaslo Jazz Etc Festival: August 1 -3, 2025! These discounted tickets will be available Thurs Sept 12th at 10am PST through the link in our bio. Youth tickets (Ages 13-17) will once again be 50% off the adult price! Grab yours while supplies last - there is a limited quantity!

We’ll have more exciting festival updates such as artists, single day tickets, kids tickets, camping, and much more in the coming months as well!
