The 29th Annual KJEF postponed

The 29th Annual Kaslo Jazz Etc Festival has unfortunately been postponed to July 30 – August 1, 2021.

We want to send our deep gratitude and appreciation to everyone battling Covid-19 and feel it is the best interest of our Community, Staff, Crew, Artists, Volunteers, Sponsors and Patrons to follow the global efforts and do whatever we can to help stop the spread. We will miss gathering with you all and celebrating our love for live music in Kaslo Bay Park this summer, but we are confident that this decision is necessary and will bring us a healthier future!

If you have purchased a festival / camping / vendor ticket for 2020, we will send you an email very soon in regards to how your order will be handled. Please wait for this information before contacting us about ticket donations, rollovers, and refunds. We appreciate your patience as we deal with this unprecedented situation.

We’ll be announcing various online ways that we are looking to pass the time this summer through our mailing list here: kaslojazzfest.com/mailing-list and on social media. We are working on bringing the Jazzlo vibe straight to your living room this August long weekend, so keep an eye out and join us!

Please stay healthy out there everyone, and we’ll all be together again soon!

From the KJES Board of Directors:

This news saddens our hearts and it is with deep disappointment that we announce the postponement of the 29th annual Kaslo Jazz Etc Festival.

Safety for everyone is of the upmost concern. Prior to the latest information from the Provincial Health Officer, the KJES team have been busy behind the scenes navigating these uncertain times to try and provide the festival we all know and love however we could. It has been difficult to prepare under the restrictions, and we want to thank our fantastic staff and management for handling things smoothly and efficiently. It is at this time we feel the responsible thing to do is postpone the 29th annual KJEF and aid in the efforts to stop the spread of Covid-19.

We would like to graciously thank all of the amazing humans that put their heart and soul into this festival, and to those who have supported us for the last 28 years! This is not the end. It is time now to reflect and plan for the new era of music festivals, and we will do just that. We will all dance again.
