Q: What are the Box Office hours? Where is the Box Office?
A: The Box Office at the festival site is located beside the main gate and is open the whole weekend from 2pm until 11pm.
Q: How much are tickets? Are there senior rates? How much are children?
A: Please visit our Tickets Page for all pricing information. Full price tickets are for everyone 18+. Youth (13-17) are half the regular price. Children 12 and under are free with a paying, accompanying adult/guardian. Government approved ID may be required to verify age. Please read our Youth Policy for full details.
Q: I don’t have an e-mail/internet/credit card. Is there another way I can purchase tickets?
A: Unfortunately at this time we are only able to offer on-line ticket sales. If you live near Kaslo and need assistance completing a transaction, please Contact Us
Q: I can’t make it to the festival anymore. Can I get a refund?
A: That’s unfortunate you are longer able to attend the festival! The Kaslo Jazz Etc. Festival has a policy of no refunds. If you can’t make it to the festival anymore there are a couple options: You can transfer your ticket to someone you know via your confirmation e-mail (see below for more info), or you can try and sell your ticket (at face value only!) through our Kaslo Jazz Etc. Festival Community Page
Q: I bought a ticket and want to volunteer instead. Can I get a refund?
A: We appreciate your support! The Kaslo Jazz Etc. Festival has a policy of no refunds. If you decide to volunteer after purchasing your ticket there are a couple options: You can transfer your ticket to someone you know via your confirmation e-mail (see below for more info), or you can try and sell your ticket (at face value only!) through our Kaslo Jazz Etc. Festival Community Page
Q: I registered to volunteer and paid a deposit, but now want to attend as a patron. Can I get a refund on my deposit?
A: No. As outlined in the Volunteer Info Package, volunteer deposits are non-refundable if you change your mind or don’t complete your shifts. Only volunteers who successfully complete their volunteer commitment will receive a refund on their deposit.
Q: How do I transfer my ticket to someone else?
A: In your ticket confirmation e-mail there is an option “to view your tickets”. Once you have your tickets open, scroll down past the download/print option to see an option to transfer your tickets. You will need the person’s contact information that you are transferring the ticket to. If you have multiple tickets purchased and only want to transfer one of your tickets to someone else, be very careful you have selected the correct ticket as once you have transferred your ticket it is permanent.
Q: I bought a ticket for my friend and myself but both tickets are under my name. How can I change the name on my ticket?
A: In your ticket conformation e-mail there is an option “to view your tickets”. Once you have your tickets open, scroll down past the download/print option to see an option to “change name” and this will change the name of the ticket holder. The name of the card holder who made the purchase will remain on all tickets purchased, but in small printing underneath it will display the new ticket holder’s name.
Q: I want to attend the day my favourite artist is performing. Can I purchase a ticket for one day? Do you have a schedule?
A: We do! Every Spring when we release the daily schedule we also release a very limited amount of single day tickets! Watch our Tickets Page for updates, or sign up to the mailing list here: kaslojazzfest.com/mailing-list
Q: I bought a Saturday ticket but want to go on Sunday now. Is there a way to switch days?
A: Like refunds, there are no exchanges. You can try and sell your tickets through the Kaslo Jazz Etc. Festival Community Page
Q: I can’t make it for a full day. Are there half day tickets? Are there two day tickets available?
A: Single Day tickets are for the full day: 2pm-12am. There are Single Day tickets or Full Weekend Passes available for purchase only.
Q: I have received my ticket confirmation e-mail. Now what?
A: You can either print out your tickets or you can download them onto your smart phone/device and bring them to the festival to be scanned.
Q: I purchased my tickets but haven’t received a confirmation e-mail. What should I do?
A: If you haven’t received your confirmation e-mail, please e-mail tickets@kaslojazzfest.com and we’ll make sure it gets to you. Don’t try and pretend you lost your tickets to receive new ones though as each ticket can only scan once, so if you gave your tickets to your friends and asked for your confirmation e-mail again, the first tickets won’t scan!
Q: Will there be tickets sold at the Box Office during the festival?
A: It depends! If the KJEF sells out beforehand there won’t be any tickets sold at the gate. We’ll keep everyone posted on tickets sales via our social media platforms. Don’t wait until the last minute though as the KJEF has sold out multiple years in a row!
Q: I am on the Guest / Will Call list. Where do I get my ticket?
A: You go to the Box Office at the festival main gate and your name will be on our Guest List. Please provide ID to match the name on our Guest List and you will receive your wristband and you’re good to go!
Q: My question isn’t listed here!
A: We would love to discuss whatever is on your mind! You can Contact Us if you have a specific question, or sign up to the Mailing List.
